WELCOME
Firstly please let me thank you for entering our pre season tournament, we hope you have a great experience with us.
Your confirmation email will have a link to submit your team sheet online, this must be done in advance.
All parking is at North Wootton Academy, Priory Lane, King’s Lynn, PE30 3PT – Car Parking is £3 per car (please ask that they have the correct change to speed up the process). There will be signs helping you get there and Parking volunteers to guide you in.
The car park opens at 8:30 am.
Fixtures are all on our tournament website, links and QR codes will be on display around the Tournament.
Teams need to register by 9:15am
Managers meeting at 9:45am
Kick Off at 10am
There will be hot & cold drinks, crisps & confectionary served from our Tea Hut, our BBQ will also be serving hot food.
On site we have inflatables & an ice cream van.
Dogs on leads are welcome, we have a dog walking field behind the main Field and were happy to fill up drinking bowls.
Please remind your parents that this is a youth tournament so we have zero tolerance on abusive behaviour towards anyone, their team is at risk of being removed from the competition.
The Refs decision is final – even if you don’t agree with it.
NO ALCOHOL is permitted at our tournament, anyone found drinking alcohol will be asked to leave immediately.
Now for a lighter note and the real reason we all give up our time – the kids! Let them enjoy the day and offer plenty of encouragement throughout.

RULES
U6-U8 - 5 a side plus 5 subs roll on roll off (non-competitive)
Under 9+ – 6 a side plus 2 subs roll on roll off (competitive)
DURATION OF EACH GAME 10 MINUTES STRAIGHT THROUGH (unless stated on your fixtures)
5 MINUTES EXTRA TIME USING THE GOLDEN GOAL RULE (1ST TO SCORE WINS)
PENALTIES TO DECIDE DRAWS AFTER EXTRA TIME IN KNOCKOUT STAGES (all on pitch players to take, then sudden death)
NO RESTRICTIONS ON GOAL AREAS
NO RETREAT RULE U9’S & UPWARDS (U6’s - U8’s to retreat as normal)
THROW INS AND CORNERS AS NORMAL
ALL FREE KICKS ARE DIRECT
GOALKEEPERS CANNOT KICK FROM HANDS, KEEPER MAY DROP THE BALL AND PASS OUT WITH THE BALL BECOMING LIVE AS SOON AS IT IS DROPPED.
FIRST NAMED TEAM WILL SUPPLY THE MATCH BALL AND CHOICE OF ENDS
SECOND NAMED WILL KICK OFF AND WEAR BIBS IF THERE IS A CLASH OF COLOURS
ANY PLAYER SENT OFF WILL TAKE NO FURTHER PART IN THE TOURNAMENT
NO PLAYER CAN PLAY FOR MORE THAN 1 TEAM ON THE DAY, NO PLAYER MAY PLAY MORE THAN A YEAR UP IN AGE GROUP, NO PLAYER MAY PLAY DOWN AN AGE GROUP.
POINTS AWARDED: 3 POINTS FOR A WIN, 1 POINT FOR A DRAW
ANY TEAM THAT DOES NOT TURN UP OR FAILS TO PLAY THEIR GAMES, THE OPPOSING TEAM WILL BE AWARDED A 1-0 WIN WITH 3 POINTS
REFEREES DECISION IS FINAL. ANY GENUINE ISSUES, PLEASE BRING UP WITH THE EVENT ORGANISERS AT THE TIME.
IN THE EVENT OF THE GROUP STAGES BEING TIED GOAL DIFFERENCE WILL BE USED 1ST , GAMES WON 2ND , GOALS SCORED 3RD , MATCH RESULT BETWEEN THE 2 TEAMS 4TH , IF ALL THESE STILL CAN NOT SPLIT THE TEAMS THEN A PENALTY SHOOT OUT (AS PER THE RULES ABOVE) WILL TAKE PLACE TO DECIDE WHICH TEAM PROGRESSES.
NO GOAL CAN BE SCORED DIRECT FROM A KICK OFF
KICK IN RULE APPLIES FOR YOUNGER AGE GROUPS AS PER FA GUIDELINES
TEAM MANAGERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BEHAVIOUR OF THEIR TEAM AND PARENTS. ANY TEAM MISBEHAVING OFF THE FIELD OF PLAY COULD RESULT IN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.
ANY PARENTS BEHAVIOUR DEEMED UNACCEPTABLE WILL RESULT IN THAT TEAM BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE TOURNAMENT.
SMOKING WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED IN THE DESIGNATED AREA ANYONE SMOKING ELSEWHERE WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE, FAILURE TO LEAVE COULD RESULT IN THEIR TEAM BEING THROWN OUT.
NO ALCOHOL IS PERMMITTED ANYWHERE AT THE TOURNAMENT, ANYONE FOUND DRINKING ALCHOL WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED AND THEIR TEAM FACING BEING THROWN OUT.
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A YOUTH TOURNAMENT AND THE KIDS ARE HERE TO HAVE FUN, WE HOPE EVERYONE HAS AN ENJOYABLE DAY.
